BF2:Uncapturable Flag

Sometimes a flag's state gets completely goofed up. There are two variations on this bug:

• In the main game view you'll see your team's flag flying on the pole, but the icons below and in the minimap show the enemy flag, and enemies can spawn at the flag while friendlies can't.
• Your team will successfully neutralize a flag, but won't be able to capture it, even though no enemy is around. The pole will still be flying the enemy flag in the game while the minimap flag is grey.

In both cases, the only solution seems to be to abandon the flag, let the enemy team "recap" it properly, and then come back later. This has been seen on multiple different flags, so the suspicion is that it's a general game bug, not a flag-specific bug.
