BF2:Will my system run BF2?
From BattleWiki
Follow these steps to tell if your current system can run BF2 and on what settings:
step 1: identify your system
What about a celeron processor ?
OS
- Windows XP supported only
(Contrary to an earlier version of this page, I can confirm that it WILL run on Windows 2000 just fine, though EA might not offically support or vouch for it. I can give no guarantees about Win9X, though and would seriously doubt it.)
internet connection: (only for multiplayer)
- Broadband Internet connection(dial-up will not work, dsl might also lag alot)
Lower resolutions:
- If you max your visual settings but lower your resolution down to 800x600 per say, your experience will be much better. Having the resolution toned down will allow your mid to low system process all the requested settings much quicker and smoother. You dont need high end cards to enjoy max settings, just tone down the resolution and have fun!

Or you could go outside... nah.
